Trophy Whitetail- ea_2653

EA Ranch has been managed since 1985 for Texas trophy white-tail deer. There are 20 blinds located throughout the ranch with game feeders to give you best opportunity for a trophy white-tail.

All hunts are guided and made from blinds looking down senderos or roads with game feeders. There are 20 blinds located throughout the ranch and most of them are two person blinds. Your guide will usually choose your hunting location to provide you with the best chance of getting the big one. Rattling or hunting scrapes is also available upon request.

The ranch has been managed to produce trophy white-tail deer since it was established. To achieve this, supplemental food plots and 15 supplemental protein feeders have been strategically placed throughout the ranch and are filled weekly. The ranch is also managed with the assistance of a certified wildlife biologist to help with population counts and harvesting suggestions. In addition to great white-tail deer hunting, enjoy excellent feral hog and javelina hunting as well.

EA Trucks Typically hunters arrive on Thursday and depart by mid-day Sunday. Consideration for travel arrangements will be taken into account when planning the hunt.

Bowhunting is available from ground blinds and tripods. Experienced bowhunters are preferred! All bowhunter must  prove proficiency with a bow before being allowed to hunt. All bowhunts will be arranged with a guide.

The regular hunting season for whitetail generally starts the first weekend of November and ends the last weekend of January. However, the EA Ranch has a Managed Lands Deer Permit which allows us to hunt for trophy whitetails starting around the first weekend in October  until the last weekend in February.
