Upon arrival, hunters are taken to the hunters cabin and their gear is unloaded. Time permitting, hunters will be given an opportunity to sight in their rifles and take a ride around the ranch or go an evening hunt.

Early morning trophy hunts begin with a wake up call and an early morning breakfast or snack to get you through the hunt. Hunters are then taken directly to their blind at least one hour before the feeder goes off. The morning hunt generally lasts from 6:00am to 9:00am.

The hunter, guide and trophy are picked up at the end of the hunt and transported back to the ranch house where the day’s kill is immediately attended to. A satisfying breakfast is then served while plans are made for the rest of the day.

If the hunter has filled his trophy deer tag, options for the remainder of the day include hunting for hogs, coyotes or bobcats. Large mouth bass fishing and sporting clays are also available.

If an evening trophy deer hunt is planned, the hunter and guide are taken to a blind at approximately 3:00pm. The hunt lasts until dark which is around 6:00pm. Beautiful sunsets are a usual occurrence in South Texas from any blind on the ranch.

After the evening hunt, hunters have an opportunity to relax around the fire pit and talk about the days adventure. Dinner will then be served before the hunters retire for the evening.
